On Wednesday, 10 February, the American Center had a traditional Conversation Cafe. It was held by Bradley Gorski, who works at the Moscow Education Advising Center as the Education Advising Coordinator for Russia.

On January 27th a big crowd of thirty-nine people participated in Conversation Cafe with Katharine Weber, our guest from the USAID office in Moscow.

On January 27 the American Center hosted a lecture entitled "American Suburbs: Architecture and Ideology." Our guest speaker was Andrew McKernan, a Fulbright Student who is in Moscow for the 2009-2010 academic year. This was Andrew's second presentation in the AMC.

On Monday, December 28 the guest of the American Center was Mike Snyder, an Assistant Cultural Affairs Officer at the US Embassy. Mr Snyder, who is in charge of the American Centers and Corners in Russia, gave a talk on the health care system in the US.
