11.02.2012 | St. Valentine’s Day. Card making training

The American Center invites alumni of USG programs to take part in card making training. The participants of the meeting will know about card making as modern art and paper craft, styles, and fundamental techniques, explore specific tools, art materials and different embellishments for making unique gifts.

The meeting will be held on February 11, 2012 at 3 p.m. at the American Center of the National Library of Tatarstan (36, K. Marks str.). Please, register via e-mail: nurlili@inbox.ru

31.01.2012 | Opening of an exhibition & rewarding the winners of children's drawings contest "The bridge of Friendship: Tatarstan-America"

The American Center in Kazan jointly with the Ministry of Culture of Tatarstan announced the contest of children's drawings "The bridge of Friendship: Tatarstan-America". Opening of an exhibition of the best works and solemn rewarding of the winners took place on January 31, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the main reading hall of the National Library of Tatarstan (33, Kremlevskaya str.).

28.01.2012 | "Alumni community: yesterday, today, and tomorrow”

On January 28, 2012 alumni of USG programs visited the American Center to discuss new ideas and future plans. During the meeting the participants learned information resources for USG alumni, small grants programs and other opportunities, and State Alumni global community. Each alumnus told about his international experience during exchange education or internship, and its role for the future professional and individual development.
