The fourth Thursday of November is traditionally celebrated as the Thanksgiving Day – one of the most favorite American holidays, traditionally a harvest festival and then a family holiday dating back as far as 1621. The friends and guests of the American Corner gathered together on this special occasion.
On October 17 Ms. Aliza Sherman a famous e-media entrepreneur, author, women's issues activist, and international speaker paid a visit to the American Corner and Regional Library audience in Perm. Her presentation “Crowdsourcing for the Better City” evoked sincere interest and questions among the young audience, proving that modern technologies remain the means of WHAT we say, and forms to shape our MESSAGE.
