On 5th of March Ufa AC hosted students from various universities of the city with the program dedicated to the International Women’s Day. A play on famous “Magic Seven-Petal Flower” theme, prepared by the students of Bashkir State Pedagogical University, brought the audience across the world. The Ufa Pedagogical College №1 play was based on famous “Little Red Riding Hood” theme, but the modern days circumstances brought the present and the heroes far away from the native forests to the wild jungles of Brazil. The Happy End could have been unthinkable if not a She Wolf! |

The Valentine’s Day celebration for school-children was hosted on 14th of February at Ufa AC. Besides of making and writing their own valentines children watched Disney’s “Like the Stars on Earth” movie, getting the clearer picture of being able to have good and positive feelings towards the closest. |

On 1st December, the International AIDS Fighting Day, Ufa AC held a conference, where the lecturers from the Regional Center for AIDS Fighting and Prophylaxis and Bashkir State Medical University spoke about the decease and its current situation for the going-to-be doctors, where the majority of the present were the students of Bashkir State Medical University. Nevertheless the lecture of B.Zolovska from the Harvard University, who is making her research in Medical Anthropology, was never less informational and reminded all about the simple true facts about AIDS, its nature and its faces. |

On the 16th of October the coordinator of the Fulbright program in Russia Valentina Gruzintseva visited AC. Valentina told about the current opportunities to become the participant of the program and briefly spoke about Senator Fulbright who gave his name to the program. This visit coincided with the Boss’ Day meeting organized by AC for FLEX program alumni, thus present heard everything about their ambitions and leadership skills realizing opportunities and got the advices from the Big Bosses of our Century such as J.W.Fulbright, J.Rockfeller and others. |
