Do you find bright and outstanding shows and performances fascinating? Do you like beautiful songs and dances? Then we are sure you'll love and become an active participant of our new project!

As part of the English Song Festival which is dedicated to musicals Saratov American Corner Movie Club launches a new project "Sparkling World of Musicals"! Each Thursday at 6 P.M. we are going to show famous Broadway musicals and films based on them, and also Documentaries about musical theatres. Bi-weekly we are planning to discuss musicals and documentary films about them.

Everyone is very welcome to watch and discuss with us the best Broadway musicals and the history and the development of this genre.

On May 24, 2012 at 18:00 Saratov American Corner will show the musical film My fair lady.

Saratov American Corner BOOK CLUB is a new community for people passionate about all things literary and bookish.

Each week there is a published work of fiction of the best titles we can find that is offered for everyone to read and think about. Each weekly read is available on the web page of our Book Club. Each week (MONDAYS AT 6 P.M.) we meet and savour every word and discuss every idea of this week's featured read.

At our seventh meeting on May 14, we discussed the short story by Robert Harris, "PMQ".

Saratov American Corner invites everybody to participate in a new project “Documentaries: discover a wide world around you”.We show the best American documentaries that received critical acclaim from film critics and also received awards at different film festivals.

On May 12, 2012 Saratov American Corner showed the documentary The World Trade Center. In Memiriam. The screening was followed by a discussion.
