08.05.2012 | Now there is an ALUMNI Corner at American Corner

On Sunday, May 6th 2012, USG Alumni in Kaliningrad got together to make an “Alumni Corner” in American Corner. The main goal of this corner is to provide a place for alumni to share their contacts and to stay in touch with each other. It is very important that alumni share share their experience from both being US students and being back as alumni.

25.04.2012 | Leadership Development for Orphanage Inmates

On April 21st 2012 Global UGRAD Alumna Polina Silvander organized a training for orphanage inmates within the project SMILE.
The training took place at the summer camp Solnechniy Bereg in poselok Ushakovo. The main goal of this event was to give a basic knowledge of teamwork, leadership development and personal growth for kids. Also the goal was to enhance the communications among children from different children houses and active youth. Twenty volunteers from various organizations participated in this event.
