The 12th NNELTA conference “Teaching English for Success” will be held on April 27 - 28, 2009 at the Linguistic University of Nizhny Novgorod. Conference participants will present papers, panels, workshops, and summaries of works in progress which explore the ways in which culture and language intersect in today’s global environment. They will also visit Nizhny Novgorod schools to participate in the discussion on innovative experience of working with new technologies and technical means of education. The main goal of the conference is to provide educators with opportunities to share innovative teaching methodologies and find answers to current challenges facing classrooms throughout the world. The conference will be multi-lingual, both Russian and English will be used by the featured speakers.
Conference co-sponsors are the Linguistic University of Nizhny Novgorod, the Nizhny Novgorod English Language Teachers’ Association, Nizhny Novgorod American Information Resource Center, Pearson Education, Oxford University Press.
