On Thursday, September 20th, at 15:00, the American Center will show the classic American film “Sterile Cuckoo,” starring Liza Minnelli, in a story about love and insanity on an American college campus.

An Oscar-nominated performance by Liza Minnelli and an excellent straight-man role by Wendell Burton brings warmth and substance to this off-beat tale of awakening love.
A
fter the film there will be a round-table dicussion with a native speaker. The speaker is a graduate of the college on whose campus the film was shot. Discussion will be open to all topics, including a comparison of American college life, then and now.

Everybody is invited, from all areas of study.
