On December, 26 Arkhangelsk AC celebrated Christmas Day. American corner prepared an exhibition entitled "Silent Night, Holy Night” dedicated to popular Christmas songs and poems. The event consisted of two parts: presentations by FLEX Alumni and Christmas game.

On December, 3 AC Arkhangelsk arranged the meeting with LFP program Alumna Elena Demidova, now a specialist of International Department of the Arkhangelsk Region Government. She told about her experiences in the USA and answered students’ questions.

02.12.2011 | Memory Evening “The Road of Courage”

On the 2nd of December 2011 the Memory evening dedicated to the veterans of northern convoys from Arkhangelsk took place in the Reading Hall of Arkhangelsk Regional Children’s Library. The meeting started with the ceremonial presentation of the manual "Northern Convoys: Heroism and Tragedy" and of the film show “The Road of Courage” made by the students of Arkhangelsk Naval college.

27.10.2011 | Michael Lomonosov and Benjamin Franklin: Two Self-Made Men of the Eighteenth Century

We welcome high school students to visit the new book exhibition "World Famous names of the Enlightenment: Mikhail Lomonosov and Benjamin Franklin" and to take part in the quest "Lomonosov vs Franklin".
