The U.S. Embassy in Moscow provided Kindle E-Readers to American Centers and Corners in Russia! You may use these Kindles in the American Center to enjoy free access to dozens of English-language fiction and non-fiction covering topics such as U.S. business, history, culture, and education.

23.02.2012 | Beauty Lies in Lover's Eyes

On the 23th of February we invited students and our readers to the meeting devoted to a fine international holiday of "Valentine's day". The main speaker was Catherine Trainor. She spoke about the history of this holiday. Participants of session together with teachers from the USA, the Bashkir State Pedagogical University and American – Bashkir Intercollege and also their friends and colleagues from Russia and the USA participated in discussion of a theme of love as higher human value and its role in life of modern Russians and Americans.
