On 22 July, 2010 a group of American students studying Russian language at Bashkir State Pedagogical University visited AC. Students visiting Ufa on Critical Language Scholarship and are to stay and learn Russian for two months.

16.06.2010 | World Blood Donor Day

On June 15, 2010 FLEX program alumni together with the Red Cross representatives held at the Republican Station for Blood Transfusion an action, where all those who came at that day to donate blood got from the hands of the youngsters some memorable presents.

11.06.2010 | Seminar for English language teachers

On June 10th a seminar for English language teachers with the participation of English Language Officers and guests from the US held at Ufa AC. David Fay, the English Language Officer at the US Embassy in Moscow and Dr. Joan Kang Shin from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (USA) associated with their colleagues and delivered presentations on «Becoming Interculturally Competent In English». On next day the guests participated in opening of the 8th Summer Camp for Youth.

On June 6 2010 Emily Danyluk, American Councils for International Education Office Director for Ural and Siberian Regions conducted a predeparture briefing with FLEX program finalists and their parents. FLEX alumni Sultanova Lyaysan and Mullabaev Ilnur participated in the briefing and shared their experience.

On 18th of April American Corner was visited by a lecturer of Computer Science, Fulbright Program alumna, Katrieva Jones. In her presentation on Fulbright Program, Katrieva reflected on her own experience of applying to the scholarship and participating in the competition.
