19.04.2011 | Kristen at Tyumen AC

On Sunday (April, 17th)at 2pm we met with Kristen again at the American Corner. There were not so many people, just 10 patrons who are close friends now. We drank tea and talked about news. Kristen spoke in Russian a little bit. Then we took part in the charitable action and donated money for Tyumen student Alexei Sitnikov (http://alexsit.ru/). He's very ill (cancer) and in need of our help.

14.04.2011 | Gulliver's Travels

On April 14th in honour of 285 anniversary of J.Swift's "Gulliver's Travels" the presentation about this book was held. The 3 "A" and 2 "B" grades of school #22 attended this event. They took part in quiz on "Gulliver's Travels", watched the presentation, the diafilm about "Gulliver in Liliput island" and the Gulliver's interview on his voyage to Brobdingnag occupied by giants.

On April 7th in honour of 285 anniversary of J.Swift's "Gulliver's Travels into Several Remote Nations of the World" the presentation about this book was held. Two 2nd grades of school #22 attended this event.

02.03.2011 | A Meeting with the US Consul General in Yekaterinburg D. Michael Reinert

On March, 2th in the Conference Hall of Central City Library a meeting with the US Consul General of the US Consulate General in Yekaterinburg D. Michael Reinert and two businessmen who collaborate with American companies was held.
