On the 15th of May Steven Mackey, the Assistant Cultural Affairs Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, visited AC in Bryansk regional scientific universal library n.a. F.I. Tyutchev.
Within the bounds of the visit Mr. Mackey met with professors and students of Bryansk universities, schoolchildren from the Gymnasium #1 and alumni.

On the 23rd of April in AC took place the public lecture of Doug Watters, International Development Officer, Stevenson College Edinburgh. |

Since October, 2011 AC organized the English Language Course. During 6 months the participators are developing English language speaking skills. On the 18th of April the Foreign Language Evening took place. The students of the Course sang the song “Edelweiss” from the movie «The sounds of music» and read the poem «Autumn Leaves».
As a surprise for visitors was the performance “The Story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears” of the children from Dobrunski lyceum.

On the 3rd of April an alumnus of some exchange programs Olga Kulikova made a speech. She introduced lecturers and students of Bryansk universities to the official web-site “Fullbright” and and presented some new programs, organized by Department of State. Olga shared her experience in participation in the program “Fullbright” and answered the questions. |
