KHABAROVSK - 5th of september AC visited US Consul General in Vladivostok Tomas Armbruster. He opened of WWII Poster Exhibit in the Regional Natural History Museum. This Exhibit is a Public Affairs event that fits into the 200th anniversary. After mr Armbruster was met with veteran and discussed “globalization” with student in AC. |

Khabarovsk - On July 14, Alex Fleming, an Arizona native and State Department student intern serving at the Consulate General in Vladivostok, gave the presentation "Everything you ever wanted to know about Arizona!" to 28 patrons at the Khabarovsk American Corner. The presentation focused on the history, geography, culture, and economy in Arizona and the American Southwest. A lively question and answer period followed that touched on illegal immigration, the U.S. electoral college, globalization, labor laws, teenage pop culture, Native American Indians, and Indian reservations.

June 27 group of political and public figures USA visited the American centre.The Delegation was met for round table with representative of the Political public Advice at governor of the Khabarovsk krai. Very important questions were discussed on the meeting: cultural and social-economic programs of the region; the ecological situation on Amur; the current political situation of both countries and prospects of the diplomatic relations development. |
