On Thursday, April 8, AC in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk held a meeting of English club. We hosted Alba Allen and her husband Jeffry David from Australia. She gave a presentation called “Unusual Places in Australia”. More than forty patrons attended it. Alba Allen was very impressed with the audience participation. Everyone felt quite comfortable to ask questions throughout the talk about the places being discussed. At the end of the presentation the questions were of a more general nature, discussing Australian culture, climate, resources, etc., and her own personal situation and experiences in life.
