On the 18th of June American Information Center hosted presentation called "Video-lectures provided by American Universities". In the course of the presentation participants learned about lectures by the professors of the best American Universities, including Harvard, Yale, Standford, UC Berkeley and some others. All video and audio lectures are provided free of charge and can be downloaded from iTunes U; these materials contain valuable information from different areas of study: humanities, social and natural sciences. Discussion on how these audio materials can help participants to improve their English language skills followed. Attendees also had chance to ask questions about contents of various lectures. The presentation was delivered by Valentina Karimova who studied at the University of Michigan.
