In spite of summer weather and vacation’s period our patrons are eager to learn new things. American Information Center invited them to listen to the lecture about RSS feeds. RSS channels allow to gather, save and organize valuable information from various news sources. During the lecture participants found out how to sign up for RSS feeds, assign categories to the feeds, and locate RSS channels. Our patrons were also excited to learn that BBC offers free English language podcasts thru their RSS channels, and that Livejournal blogs can be accessed thru RSS feed viewer.
