On September, 1 Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk American Corner celebrated Knowledge Day. An exhibition of new books “Do You Study English?” was settled for all who was fond of English. It included an unique multimedia textbooks of Delta Publishing, presented by Project Harmony under USA Consulate. These textbooks have an advantage as they develop all aspects of language: grammar, vocabulary, phonetics, listening.
Besides, Pyatnitskaya Olga, coordinator of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk American Corner, represented resources of the Corner, advantages of English Learners Club for more than 100 students of 9 forms and technical schools. Most of attention was attracted with Britannica and Americana Encyclopedias, Guinness World Records, Atlas of the World and DVD-collection.
