The guests of the conference from Moscow were the member of the Executive Committee of the Russian Fulbright Alumni Association Larisa Taradina, Deputy Head of the Office for International Development of the State University - Higher School of Economics, and Alexander Petrov, senior researcher from the Institute of World History of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Besides, Fulbright alumni came from Cherepovets. A graduate student from the Vologda State Technical University who was recently chosen for participation in this year program joined the conference as well as alumni of different programs planning to apply to the Fulbright program in the nearest time.
During the discussion many interesting ideas were born: one of them is to invite the professor from the Cherepovets State University Galina Chirsheva to conduct a lecture in Vologda on bilingual education (since some of Vologda alumni practice this technique with their children). Alexander Petrov shared his idea to organize Internet-based conferences with American universities in which he has contacts.
