On November 21 there was a seminar for local businesses on Industrial licensing. This seminar is a part of a series of seminars conducted by Bill Bettencourt, a Fulbright fellow and an International business and management instructor at Edmonds community college (Washington, USA). The second seminar is on November 28. It is devoted to Small businesses and the way they are run in the USA. 13 representatives of local businesses were present at the 1st seminar. The issue being discussed at the seminar raised numerous questions and commentaries. The businesspeople were eager to share their own experience on industrial licensing in Russia. There was an interpreter at the seminar (a Global UGRAD alumna Evgeniya Kulgina) who assisted in communication between Bill Bettencourt and the entrepreneurs.
