Larisa is a Deputy Head of the Office for International Development at the State University - Higher School of Economics, Moscow. This university is actively involved in international exchange and educational programs. Besides the grant from the Fulbright program, Mrs. Taradina was a recipient of stipend from the Santander bank and the Soros Foundation, so she referred to her own successful experience of raising funds.
The guest of Vologda explained how to search information on grants, how to determine whether or not it is worth to apply for the competition, how to write a good CV, a motivation letter and a statement of purpose.
More than 30 students and teachers attended the lecture.
The visit of Larisa Taradina was supported by the Russian Fulbright Alumni Association and the International Department of the Vologda State Pedagogic University.
