From December 9 to December 27 2011 we asked our patrons to bring canned goods, or some food in boxes or packages (noodles, cereals - food, which cannot spoil fast) to collect food bags with us for those who is in need. Many people responded to our call, and we collected food which will be donated for Russian elderly pensioners, single mothers, children, political and war refugees through a charitable organization MPC Social Services in Moscow. It was the first food drive in the American Center in Moscow, and it had a success! We will continue to involve our patrons to charity and community services projects!
