On December 24, American center in Chelyabinsk organized Christmas Day celebration. USG alumni, students, teachers, and constant visitors of the AC who are interested in American holidays and culture attended the event to celebrate Christmas Day and take part in competitions.
American center staff gave a presentation on “Christmas Day: history, traditions and main symbols” and organize different games, contests and competitions devoted to Christmas Day with alumni assistance.
Within the frame of Christmas Day celebration, American center staff organized alumni' photos exhibition "My Christmas in America". All the participants got small prizes for their participation. Alumni told that Christmas Day is one of their favorite holiday and that they were happy to be in America during its celebration. They shared their impressions about Christmas Day celebration being in the USA.
There was a quiz devoted to some interesting facts about Christmas Day.
All the winners got presents and prizes. At the end of the meeting all gathered people wished to each other “Merry Christmas!”
