On October 25, William Levit, a U.S. attorney, visited Vladivostok American Corner and gave a presentation on legal themes as depicted in Hollywood movies. He started his presentation with a short introduction to American legal system and his own professional background as a lawyer and former Foreign Service Officer, then showed scenes from over 20 Hollywood movies, from solemn to hilarious, all dealing with U.S. court procedure and jury trials. The presentation was followed by Q&A session and informal discussion with Mr. Levit.
