Geoffrey Anisman visit to Volgograd American Corner!

Geoffrey Anisman Assistant Cultural Attache met with the USG alumni, students, and Library administration in Volgograd.


During two-days visit to Volgograd Geoffrey met wit the Director of the Library Nina Viktorovna Shashko, had a very interesting talk with FLEX alumni and representatives of the Volgograd Charity voluntary organization UNESCO CLUB “Dignity of the Child”, took part in the Pen Palls event with high school children and gave a wonderful introduction to the movie “Coming to America” during our Thursdays’ American Movie Nights Club!



During all these meetings that our honorable guest had with the AC patrons and Library officials there was always a feeling of strong cooperation and a great wish to further development of the relations between Gorky Library in Volgograd and PAS section in the US Embassy in Moscow that has been started so successfully in 2001.
