David Kessel, the Fulbright English Teaching Assistant stationed in Vladivostok, continued his bi-weekly series at the American Corner on American poetry and music. This week focused on Bob Dylan, a legendary voice of 20th century American unrest, and who continues to be one of the biggest figures in American popular music. This was a timely event, as Dylan's latest album has just made it to the top of the American and British pop charts. Such presentations and discussions, the latest of which was attended by a dozen students and adults, are a unique and valuable point of access to American culture, history, and art.
