On Saturday, February 14, AC in Vologda held a meeting of English club devoted to Saint Valentine Day.
Among attendees there were schoolchildren, university students and working people. One American teacher and one German students also joined our meeting. We read and discussed several versions of origin of the holiday, listened to and sang all together wonderful song “Nothing gonna change my love for you”, read love poems and even wrote several our own poems about love. We also played a funny game “Throwing a smile” and enjoyed getting Valentine’s cards from our regular patrons, who couldn’t come to the meeting but kindly had sent their cards to everyone in advance.
