On December 1, 2007 American Corner continued to carry out the cycle of “open projects” devoted to the International AIDS Day started in 2006. After getting a unique material – a shor film “Nastya’s Diary”, specialists of American Corner developed the project of “open discussions” for students of usual secondary schools. In 2007 this public event was held for students who attend English courses in Pushkin Library – students and pupils of an orphan home No.4. The film covers issues popular for this age group. The plot is based on the discussion of questions arising students’ great interest. The film made children sympathize the heroes of the film and to feel with them. The heroes turned out to be in a difficult situation, so there was a heated discussion among students.
All participants of the project were given souvenirs and the most active ones received original prizes.
