The first meeting of the “Discussion club” in the New Year took place on the 10th of January. The main topic of the discussion was announced as “The Culture of Japan”. Nevertheless, the participants exchanged the New Year celebration impressions at first!!! There was conducted the unique quiz. The answers on the questions should have been truthful and some of the questions reduced the guests to a nonplus. Alice, an anchor person, being a rabid admirer of everything Japanese, made a cognitive and enthralling presentation “Japan” in English. A piquancy of the meeting was the fact that Alice speaks not only English but Japanese too. Her presentation gave the participants an opportunity to dip in the beautiful world of Japanese culture completely and to get to know a lot of new and interesting facts.
The next sitting of the “Discussion Club” is going to be conducted on the 7th of February at 16.30 and will be given up to the traditions of the New Year and the St. Valentine’s Day celebrating in various countries.
