On 19th January the American Corner welcomed a guest from Vladivostok Elena Vereikina, a coordinator of the Education USA Center. She had very useful information about entering to the USA colleges and universities. Really more and more people were eager to master English and go abroad to study. It was known that American education gave better opportunities to find well-paid job and have career development. Elena told about exchange programs, its advantages and disadvantages, about Educational System of the USA, about ways to get individual financial benefit. It was paid a lot of attention to practical methods in preparation for TOEFL; it was an obligatory test you should pass if you wanted to study in the USA.
