On February 24, we couldn't but talk about Defender of the Fatherland Day that all Russians celabrated the day before. Everyone talked about how they usually celebrate it and shared their ideas about how best to choose a present. Then Justin and Anne told us about Veterans Day, an American holiday celebrated annually on November 11, that honors military veterans. At the end of the meeting, our American friends told us about traditions of celebrating New Year and Halloween.
