On Sunday in the Conference Hall of Central City Library a meeting with the Vice-Consul of the press, education and culture of the US General Consulate in Yekaterinburg Christopher Istrati was held. Mr. Istrati delivered a lecture in English on "The Great African-Americans and their contributions into the history of the United States." This topic interested very many people. During the meeting everyone was given an opportunity to ask all kinds of questions. Those who were present asked not only about African-American culture, but also about Russia-America relationships in general, different culturalvalues and about Mr. Istrat's trips. The lecture was followed by a tea party for our English-speaking guests, during which the conversation was so fascinating that the meeting lasted until 9 pm.
