In February in cooperation with one of the city schools the AC held an event devoted to the youth’s problems that includes AIDS.
During the event there was a demonstration of the video “Nastya’s diary” about a young man who was not sure whether he has AIDS or not. He made an impulsive act the result of which can be AIDS but he is afraid to take analysis to be certain of.
There was conservation with the students and discussion of the questions suggested to the movie.
During the discussion the students showed very good possession of information about AIDS and the ways of infection.
During the demonstration we discussed the heroes behavior, tried to imagine what we would do if we were at their place.
The atmosphere of the event was warm and promote the discussion. Due to this fact the students felt free to express their opinion about the problem.
