The theme of our poetry evening “Love” was chosen deliberately in order to create a romantic atmosphere of coming spring.
The audience had a great chance to get acquainted with the romantic love poems of American poetesses Emily Dickinson, Dorothy Parker, Elizabeth Bishop, Edna St. Vincent Millay as well as musical compositions by Peggy Lee.
The evening was attended by students of Department of translation studies, teachers, high school students.
On the meeting we awarded the participants of American Literature Quiz.
