20.10.2011 | Alumni Assistants at American Corners, September 2011 Report
September was the first month of 2011-2012 Alumni Assistant (AA) program year. The program is aimed at reaching out to the USG alumni community in various regions of the Russia via a network of highly motivated, active and enthusiastic Alumni Assistants working under auspices of the American Centers and Corners. Each AA, being a USG program alumnus, is unique in terms of their creative approach thus providing for a great number of extraordinary events throughout the country. This year is also unique in the sense of having a pilot initiative of launching AA program in Krasnodar (not a current American Center or Corner location). AAs are strongly encouraged to utilize social networks, American Corners and Centers and USG alumni web-sites to promote and advertise the events within the community.
