01.04.2012 | Alumni Assistants at American Corners, March 2012 Report
March 2012 was a truly busy month for Alumni Assistants as they managed to put together a great number of conferences, meetings and round tables. As one the key features of this period, one can note events in “alumni-to-alumni” format. It means that Alumni Assistants brought together alumni of various exchange programs who agreed not only to share their experience but also to educate their fellow alumni. This cooperation resulted in highly demanded and well regarded training sessions and lectures which really unite the alumni community.

In February, the Alumni Assistants focused on bringing local alumni communities closer to each other. Various events provided opportunities for USG exchange program alumni to meet each other, share new ideas, discuss their unique experience, and moreover to train their fellow alumni.

27.02.2012 | Alumni Assistants at American Corners, January 2012 Report
Alumni Assistants program had a great start for the new year. Despite traditional Russian winter and college exams, the AAs conducted a great number of various events and meetings. Sharing their enthusiasm and motivation, the AAs brought together alumni of different USG exchange programs and ages sharing the same unique experience. The January events include a number of traditional community service initiatives as working with orphans, elderly people and an animal shelter, as well as discussion club sessions, video-conferences, informal alumni meetings for future planning and as usual, the alumni are happy to inform about their professional and academic success.

25.01.2012 | Alumni Assistants at American Corners, December 2011 Report
December was one of the most exciting and productive months for Alumni Assistants project. A great number of different events, workshops, celebrations, quizes and roundtables for audiences of different ages were organized. Surprisingly, for this traditionally busy month, a great number of USG programs alumni actively participated as guest speakers, organizers, trainers and volunteers. It’s also worth noting that many of the alumni shared their success stories with the alumni community, sparking the others to participate and share their own.
