On February 17 there was presentation of AC recourses for 2-3rd years students of Kamchatka state technical university.
During the presentation the students got information about AC recourses. A particular attention was paid to dictionaries and fiction literature, that they can use for their study and to the literature they probably will need for their postgraduate study.
Also they picked information about DVD and video collections of AC.
And the most important they knew about services and information provided by AC. Information about exchange programs were particularly highlighted especially UGRAD program – the program they can take part in being students. In connection with this program the book on TOEFL and writing essays were demonstrated.
In the second part of the event there was my presentation about USA based on my own experience. As example I told them about IVLP the participant of which I was last year. The presentation was called “Familiar and unfamiliar America”.
The event was very successful and the students asked a lot of question.
But what is the most pleasant thing is that some students after that presentation started to visit AC very often.
