Friday 16 Americn Corner held the last workshop for english teachers.

While the previous workshops focused on developing pre-, in- and post-reading strategies, the last one focused on tasks students can complete to help them to take advantage of reading as a means of building vocabulary. There are many things a skilled reader does to build his vocabulary. Just like skills of speaking, listening and writing, these skills, too, can be scaffolded and practiced in the reading lesson. In this workshop, teachers have practiced those skills and discussed way in which they can be included in their own lessons.

During 6 mounths teachers from all over the city have been attending the workshops "Reading" which english fellow John Mark navigated.

After the last workshop had ended the best teachers who took part in most events have been awarded with certificates signed by John M. Mark and the American Corner.
