Digital Video Conference with the representative of American Business School library - Debie Gurkin - took place in American Info Center on the 15th of February. Debie is Access & Curriculum Services Manager in Kresge Business Administration library of one of the leading Business Schools in the US - Ross Business School in the University of Michigan. More than 40 Staff members of the university, special and public libraries of Yekaterinburg participated in the conference. Among them were 6 USG programs alumni.
In the course of the event Debie talked in detail about coursepack creation and processing, following copyright guidelines, and about services that Business library provides for Students, Faculty and Staff. Presentation was followed by Q&A session, when Debie answered numerous questions of our guests.

We believe this meeting was very informative and fruitful for the city librarians.
"Open World -2008" alumni O. Kazimirskaya and O. Kolotova - shared their impressions: "We learned a lot of new and interesting information about working with students from our American colleagues. This is important, because we are representing university library, and issue of providing textbooks and study literature takes special place in our work. We hope that in future forms of work introduced by American librarians will find practical application in our libraries."
