On March, 30th Tomsk AC held student conference «American Business Experience For Future Russian Managers”. Opening the conference Sergei Kirpotin, TSU Vice Rector on International Affairs, said that the transition to the innovation economy poses task to apply the best world management experience and, of course, in the first place – USA experience. During more than a century of the management science development remarkable management models of different levels were worked out, American scientists set forth a lot of great ideas. Tomsk students, while preparing for the conference, learnt about many of them. Conference hall of TSU Scientific Library hardly housed all who wanted to listen to the participants.
The honored jury which consisted of Kore Gleason, Moscow AC Coordinator, Veniamin Khazanov, “IPHAR” CEO, Mikhail Mamontov, the head of Tomsk department of “STAR Travel”, Olga Obdalova, the head of foreign languages department, and Irina Zakharova, Tomsk AC Education Adviser chose the best students and presented them with certificates and prizes. In her concluding remarks Kore Gleason noted the high level of the presentations and mentioned that all the participants took the initiative, believed in themselves and achieved very good results.
