The presentation, given by Sylva Etian, PAO in Vladivostok, included visuals of the March on Washington and excerpts of King’s dramatic speech delivered on the steps of the Lincoln memorial in 1963 . A copy of I HAVE A DREAM and brochures on Martin Luther King’s life were passed around to the participants. The audience had the opportunity to ask about one of the greatest African-American heroes and discuss the significant changes in the American society that came because of his actions.
