In the beginning of June representatives from one of Moscow’s restaurants called “21 prime” requested to the American Center. The management of the restaurant was going to hold an American meat festival timed to coincide with the Independence Day. The restaurant required materials in order to design the interior in American style. And we thought that it would be nice to put in a public display of some of the works of American famous artists and sculptors. That’s when we decided to exhibit reproductions from our collection “Picturing America”.

From the 7th with the 21st of July you can visit an exhibition of American artists’ reproductions. This exhibition is held in a restaurant called “21Prime”. Visitors of the restaurant likely haven’t heard of the American center. So this exhibition will help them to learn something new about the USA and the American Center in Moscow. Our contact info can be found on the menu. Besides, our logo is used in the promotional materials of the Festival. Guests of the restaurant are also offered a brochure where they can find the complete list of periodicals that are available to read in the American Center. Furthermore, the center provided brief information about each work of art because of which restaurant’s staff could answer the questions which arose among visitors concerning. All mentioned above give the hope that quests of the “21 Prime” restaurant while tasting American food will feel a wish to visit the American center in order to learn about the culture and the traditions of the USA. The American center’s employee and one of its patrons were invited to the opening of the «FOUR TASTES OF AMERICA” festival.
