On November, 24th Tomsk AC inaugurateded the project «American Business Experience For Future Russian Managers”. Professors on management Felix Tarasenko(TSU) and John Pourdehnad (University of Pennsylvania), alumni who visited the USA on different exchange programs – Evgeny Syntin, TSU library director, and Olga Sulakshina, the director of the art gallery “Art and actuality” were present at the event. They spoke to the students who study business science about the development of management science and practice in the USA, about the system of business education at American Universities, and what Russian managers can take over from their American colleagues.
The program “American Business Experience For Future Russian Managers” financed by the US embassy will be run the whole academic year. Its aims are to inform Tomsk students about progressive American management science and practice and to improve their English language skills. Within the framework of this program different lectures on this topic will be given at Tomsk AC, feature films and documentaries about the US economy will be shown, books and electronic resources for American center will be bought. In February student conference will take place and other interesting events will be organized at AC.
